EMDR, Couples & INDIVIDUAL Therapy in the Central Valley

Compassionate therapy that heals from the inside, out.

Life doesn’t look or feel the way you wish it did.

  • Having the space to process, navigate and learn tools to improve relationships can be life changing!

  • Often pain from our past, if left unhealed, creeps up on us and impacts us in ways we may be surprised to discover.

Sadness? Difficulty sleeping? Racing thoughts? Substance abuse? All of these can come from untreated past pains.

  • That’s where I come in… You don’t have to do this alone! I support you through this by providing healthy coping strategies and encouraging building of insight and self-awareness.

I’m Julia.

I believe you deserve relief from pain and hope for healing.

Choosing to begin therapy can be a difficult and overwhelming decision. It is my role to create a safe space for you as you embark on this journey.

How I can help

I support clients in making lasting change through therapy

  • Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or worried? Constantly struggling with that pain in your chest or chronic fatigue? These are simply a few of those often experienced symptoms individuals seek relief from. The individual therapy space is a safe environment to process and explore past and present concerns. It is a space to find long-term relief and healing!

  • There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Why? Because two humans are involved and humans aren’t perfect. Whether it’s learning how to communicate in a healthier way, heal from wounds and resentments, or learn how to navigate parenting together, couples sessions can be instrumental in learning how to have a healthy relationship and deeper connection.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences. It works by helping the brain reprocess difficult memories in a safe, guided way—reducing their emotional charge so they no longer feel overwhelming. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses structured eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to support the brain’s natural healing process.
